Adopt a Family or Child

Fill out this simple form and we’ll connect you anonymously with a child, a family or as many as you are comfortable shopping for.

Businesses may also sign up to adopt families or children or seniors.

Do you attend a local church in the  area? Several have Christmas trees on display with paper stars. Each star has a child in need with their age, gender and wish list. If your church does not have a tree and would like one, contact the Care Train for information.

Volunteer your time

There are many ways and levels of commitment. A few areas of need are:

  • Distributing and collecting toy bins throughout Union County
  • Assist with the auction – many positions available
  • Assist with distribution day – the most rewarding of all!

Get a Care Train Brain!

The holiday season may only roll around once a year, but Care Train works all year long to make it happen.

Throughout the year, clearance sales are great times to stock up toy, video game and clothes for kids 13 and under. Picking up something here or there throughout the off season is also easier on the pocket book!

Businesses or individuals that have valuable gifts that make great auction items but aren’t the right season – that’s OK! We can do special auctions any time of the year through social media bidding! Summer concert tickets or events? Maybe gift certificates or vacations.

If you find great deals – share them on our Facebook or text others with Care Train Brain. You can drop off items at:

Shop

The auction and popup auctions are a fun way to support the Care Train while winning fantastic products, services and event experiences donated by all of our supporters.

Shopping for others is fun, too! When you adopt a child or family, or pick a star from the giving trees, you get the fun of shopping for children’s wish lists, knowing they will have a wonderful Christmas because of you!

Memorial

What has most touched us are our legacy supporters. Families have remembered Care Train upon the loss of a loved one and request that donations be made to Care Train, in lieu of flowers.

We are grateful for the kindness and trust shown to us during their mourning.
